Land Use & Environmental Committee

The focus of the Committee is as diverse and wide-spread as the various regulatory issues impacting the Aggregate Industry: water policy and regulation with the State Engineer’s Office, land use, permitting for new plant operations, equipment permitting, water discharge/storage/augmentation/testing, air permitting/RAQC (Regional Air Quality Commission), etc.

The Committee meets every month on the third Friday of the month and usually a guest speaker from one of the regulatory or cabinet agencies attends the meeting with a discussion of a topical issue.
